SPECIAL UPDATE (April 2005):
Peter Gilmore returned to the track on 4 April after winning a 2 year battle with cancer.
Peter's first run back (after 9 months of chemotherapy followed by 6 months of kidney failure followed by 6 months of interferon therapy) was a brisk 200 in 53 seconds !
Peter said of this : "The amazing thing about a dancing bear is not how well it dances, but that it dances at all."
Peter wishes to extend his deepest thanks to the following people for saving his life and giving him another chance to run :
Dr. Mark Penny,
Dr. Sam Milliken,
Dr. Rob Feller
The rest of the team from Sprint Force Australia wish to congratulate Peter on his recovery and welcome him back to the track.
